I used it for a while but there were some rumours going around that people were getting random charges added to their bill so i deleted  from what i remember it was just like whatsapp and really simple to use though |

I haven't used either Kik or Whatsapp, but as far as I'm aware they both use your data connection.
So to my simple mind, it's a matter of juggling/balancing your text and data allowances, although Kik is of course anonymous as the other person doesn't know/see your number. |
