What pubs and clubs in Glasgow are good for a quiet drink this time of year dont want to be standing elbow to elbow with the riff raff.

Glasgow

Mono is always nice & quiet, full of arty types usually.

There's a really nice place on Queen street opposite Ichiban, or the Twisted Wheel on Queen St.

Where in Glasgow are you staying? City centre? Also, what kind of bars do you like? Traditional pub, cocktail, wine focus?

Glasgow

A lot of city centre bars are going to be chokka from lunchtime Friday (tomorrow) till late Monday.

Curiously the smaller bars might turn out to quieter.

I'd suggest Babbity Bowster, McSorleys, The Pot Still or, if you want somewhere 'trendy' check out the Royal Exchange Square bars.

All Bar One attracts office totty.
