My home town
Just make it a crawl and take the night as it comes. Several good pubs and they’re all on the high street. You’ll be lucky to be walking more than 5 minutes before you get to the next pub. Have a good one! X |

I got trapped there for a few hours a couple of weeks back. It was only as the bus ground to a halt and I saw all the flame torches that I knew I'd encountered another angy mob, naw, it was some sort fire festival.
I was freezing but managed to kill the time in the shops. |

The local kids lead a procession with candles to light the christmas tree in the town square
I went to see that a few times, its quite a nice night, would watch it from a pub window... im sure it was brass monkeys |

I Googled it at the time and it was the Torchlight Procession with is part of Linlithgow's Advent Fayre. I only know that cause I sent my Sister-in-law a link to an article about it.
As I said, I killed time athe shops. I went to Tesco first, then wlked along to B&M, Aldi and Sainsbury. It wasn't too cold, and the walk helped keep me warm.
