Places to Stay Fort William/Glen Coe Area

Hi

I hope you don't mind me asking in here but I'm looking to stay in the Fort William / Glen Coe / Ballachulish area middle of next May. I've looked at the usual hotel type sites but having not visited the area before I would like more local opinions for somewhere with great views and dinner. It will be my last night before heading home via Loch Lomond / Glasgow and motorway... I already know I may have to close my eyes and just smile when it comes to prices

Thanks x

Moorings Hotel was nice, though that was quite a few years ago. Stayed in a few others and most were okay, but amazed that so few have views of the amazing landscape.

Glasgow

I recommend the Ben Nevis hotel and Spa, stayed here a couple of times when climbing/waking and it’s not too expensive.

The Spa certainly helps ease the weary muscles.

The Clachaig at Glencoe is excellent.

It might be a bit of a trek but if you head north west of Fort William, then Arisaig well worth visit too. Couple of good hotels in the village.
