I will be in Glasgow on the above date for a night out with some friends. Going out for a meal then a few drinks to Speakeasy and surrounding bars. I’ll also be looking for some fun before I go out and when I’m back from my night out. Will be staying at a hotel in Merchant City. |

"Hope you're not in the Merchant City Inn. I vowed never to go back there after the new owners took over, and a lot had the same experience I did. All I'll say is - It was horrible.

Haven’t stayed there in years, never found it very appealing. Tend to stay in the Ibis or the Z. |

I've not stayed there since 2016 - I was appaled at some of the comments they made, not caring about guests within earshot or not.
They were also very derogatory to the "number of gays" in the area - Well don't buy a hotel in a known area. It was a TG night out, and I knew a fair few had booked into the hotel so I told them to wait until they saw what that night brought lol
Then when I checked out I told them of a few faults in the room I was in, and they accused me of breaking stuff and stealing the batteries from the Remote Control for the Telly - It had none to start off with and I ended up getting some from Poundland.
