I will be in Glasgow on the above date for a night out with some friends. Going out for a meal then a few drinks to Speakeasy and surrounding bars. I’ll also be looking for some fun before I go out and when I’m back from my night out. Will be staying at a hotel in Merchant City.

Hope you're not in the Merchant City Inn. I vowed never to go back there after the new owners took over, and a lot had the same experience I did. All I'll say is - It was horrible.

Haven’t stayed there in years, never found it very appealing. Tend to stay in the Ibis or the Z.

I've not stayed there since 2016 - I was appaled at some of the comments they made, not caring about guests within earshot or not.

They were also very derogatory to the "number of gays" in the area - Well don't buy a hotel in a known area. It was a TG night out, and I knew a fair few had booked into the hotel so I told them to wait until they saw what that night brought lol

Then when I checked out I told them of a few faults in the room I was in, and they accused me of breaking stuff and stealing the batteries from the Remote Control for the Telly - It had none to start off with and I ended up getting some from Poundland.

Revolver is dead nice, if anyone’s looking for other options. Yes, you can hear the Polo Lounge’s music all night, but they know that and provide cute earplugs.
