I managed to get a space via my work's booking, but given the "rules" for attending and that it's a sit-down meal type affair, I've decided not to go.
Had it been a buffet style thing, I'd have still considered attending. |

Some are listed on the site, but others would have been given in the T&C's that the person organising your works visit would have got.
The two that annoyed me however are,
No entry after the meal. You have to be there in time for it, or you're not getting in full-stop.
&
I am not allowed to take my insulin into the venue at all. Our oganiser asked and the Murrayfield people said they'd get back to her about it. Their answer was "Do they really need to bring their medication?"
So those two things have put me right off it. You can easily over-organise things and make them unenjoyable. |
