The planet....
To maybe help your finances....
To make you life simpler....
I'll go first..
We swapped to eco based clothes washing methods, soap nuts & minerals. Saved a fortune on washing powders.
Now make eco dishwasher tablets too...
We are also trying to reduce single use plastic also. Now using soap bars and shampoo bars in the bathroom. Made our own soap our own candles, diffuser oils.
No plastic skin care facial routine.. (no not that version, cheeky monkeys!!), aloe, cucumbers, coffee grounds...
New A rated boiler and house insulation, planned under floor insulation coming soon.
What are you doing to help yourself and help the planet? |

We have solar panels they provide most of our yearly electricity needs
We also have 2 electric vehicles
But we never done it to save the planet we done it to save US money
I don’t believe anything we do makes much difference when other countries do nothing thus undo any potential good |

This might help others but we've got motion sensor LEDs from Amazon in the kitchen and bathrooms so us and the kids don't need to turn the lights on (and leave them on) at night.
Also put curtains up at the front and back door to keep heat in.
Also trying to drive the cars less. |

Recently got an electric car.
Recycle what we can.
I rarely buy new clothes for myself. Revamp old stuff or charity shop chic.
Use my old knickers as cleaning rags |

"Its the Sun
it has moved a small fraction closer to planet Earth and this is the problem."
Sshhhhh you can't say that. You'll burst the green agenda. Greta will be really pissed if you say that. |

In the west. |
I recycle. The house is insulated but I have a few draughts (fekin gales) to find and block up.
I'm going to put curtains up at the doors so the can be drawn when I go to bed.
I put the washing on winterdykes in the warmest rooms over night, they are usually dry when I get up. |

I'll occasionally have a shit in a bus stop to save flushing the loo. Tbh that's more to do with me being on a water meter than trying to save water, but every little helps. |

Alot of peeps have said the same sorta things.
Start because they can save some pennies.
If it help the environment then great.
And I get all the sceptics and whot not, but with money so tight for alot these days small little changes could help both yourself and everyone else.
Win win in my book and besides we do stuff because it's fun too.
Making stuff is fun. |
