So whats peoples thoughts on the joke of a paper that SNP have published yesterday outlining their vision for Independence

1) we will just use another countrys currency for as long as we want and then ditch it for our own as yet phantom currency and they will be ok with that no questions asked.

2)we will need to have a border to check goods going to England and Wales but just at 2 points on road..not sure about the other multiple entry points in Scotland (rail/air/sea?)

3)we will rejoin the EU as a new nation. And theyll agree no questions asked even though we dont meet the criteria theyve set.

Anyone think its a credible plan? Really?

Even supporters of independence must be disheartened by how badly put together the plan is?

With the current shit show down in Westminster and the crisis in Europe, anything is possible.

The plans are hilarious when they totally ignore the EU rules on land borders between members & non members that the EU kept emphasising during Brexit. Hard border, no freedom of movement, stringent checks. And thats IF they apply and eventually get in to the EU

They also seem to forget that 60% of Scottish trade goes to the rest of the UK and only 14% to the EU. Out of the UK and out of the EU, not a pretty picture!

They want the ability to spend and borrow as they see fit however, using a foreign country’s currency, yes, the UK will be a foreign country of Scotland becomes independent, won’t happen as the Bank of England will still be the bank of last resort AND still set all the rates.

Compared to the Joke books put out by the Tory party, no wait a minute it's being updated, or the Blue Labour team?
