I know it's probably been done before. But what's the one album you listen to again and again?
Mine has to be U2 The Joshua Tree.
Lost count of how many times I've heard since the 80s. |

Various modern rock bands albums - Alter Bridge, Shinedown, Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry - that sort of thing.
Single album though, probably Blackbird by Alter Bridge - the title track is a masterpiece. |

Hard to see past "His Special Years" by Val Doonican - a compilation of his time on Decca and containing all his hits and major album tracks in one place. |

Side comment - Alter Bridge only came on to my radar when checking live gigs in Glasgow. Wtf! Why haven’t I heard them before now? Like Clutch a few years back. Shit to favourite band over night when I was informed about them. Amazing.
As to a single album. Terrorvision’s How to Make Friends and Influence People. |

I remember coming across Clutch in a tent at Download 2006, around when Blast Tyrant was released and thought what is this funky goodness as I bobbed my ass into the front of the crowd. Loved them ever since and met the singer too |

Cardigan yes - on top of the polo neck (preferrably white - unless its in the wash). Flannels too. For maximum effect I listen while trying to balance nonchalently atop of my stool, one leg draped higher than the other, while listening to the great man.
Of course, in summer (and only if no one else is looking) I'll dress down. Slacks, a shirt, and whisper it, a polyester cardie to take account of the scorching heat in Paisley. |

Since I feel I among friends, and people of a nonjudgmental disposition here I feel it is OK to unburden myself further. Stop me if I am over-sharing here.
But replicating Val's slimline tubular microphones from the 1970's did present something of a problem until the wife asked me to fetch a pair of socks from her sock drawer one winter. She doesn't only keep socks in there.
Pretendy microphone problem solved - but only when I have the house to myself mind. |

Well you got 10 years in there before me. Life could have been different if I’d discovered them earlier lol. Tickets to see them next month woop. Probably do alter bridge and Halestorm too. (cause they don’t have the “rock” emoji) |

The only ambum I can listen to time and time again and not skip tracks is Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.
I know it's a full story and you really have to listen to it all, but not once have I thoight about skipping any of it. |

Led Zep 3.
Since I've been loving you. Probably their best track."
Have you heard 'Hey hey, what can I do?'? It was recorded at the same time but wasn't included on the album. Many Zep fans say it's their best song! |

Yeah same here. But maybe it was a toss up between that one and Tangerine? |

Surprised there's no mention of it so far but Marvin Gaye's What's Going On is one of my all time faves. Such a complete album and one of the earliest concept al ums too. I always wanted a coat like the one he wears on the album cover. |
