Hotels by the hour

A friend is coming through Edinburgh with a pretty big layover.. we would like to use that time wisely….

Does anyone know of any hotels or Airbnb that tend out by the hour to cater to layovers?

Normally I would just go back to mine, however this time it’s not an option.
