Why does it matter? They could have hidden their profile for any reason, and the could have looked at your for any reason.
Some people (usually men, sorry) seem to interpret a profile view as “they’re interested”. If they’ve viewed your profile and haven’t fabbed any photos, sent you a wink, message, or otherwise made their interest known to you, then it is a shaky (and probably very frustrating) assumption to make.
I find I get a spike in profile views when I post in forums. It didn’t mean anyone is interested in me in that sense. More likely they want know what kind of @rse is arguing with them in a thread!

Yeah, that one is frustrating.
On a similar theme... My memory is gash, so I tend to block as a sort of aide memoir to “not go there”. This can be for a range of reasons - either an approach has been rebuffed, or we’ve had an unresolvable difference of opinion about something in the forum (e.g. someone who might be otherwise really attractive but has a hang up about bi guys). In the latter it saves either of us wasting our time, and in the former it saves me becoming an accidental nuisance.
If I’m going to block someone I’ll tend to un-fab any pics I’d previously fabbed (not sure if the site does this automatically).
But yeah, winking or inviting from hidden is a bit pointless unless supported by a message of some sort. |

You can still wink them, just click on the three wee lines at the top. |

i’ve just hid mines again, can’t keep up with the messages so gives me a break. like other people have said to work through them, and although my profile does state that i’m not looking to meet anyone new. i still get messages. so hiding is just easier than wasting anyone’s time, sending the same message repeatedly. |
