Grantown on spey on the way through is worth a visit. Also many distilleries en-route if you like a whisky. To many to mention on your route from Glasgow to nairn if I'm honest x

Elgin has a go karting track ifnyou like that. Cullen beach is gorgeous. Nairn beach is lovely as well. Findhorn, burghead and roseisle. There are people on fab up there. Put on location or search within 20 miles of nairn. Was someone a quarter of a mile for me last time i qas up that way.

From Nairn you could do a trip round Loch Ness, visit Cawdor or Brodie Castles, visit Beauly and make your way to Chanonry Point (Fortrose) to try spotting dolphins.

Maybe take a drive to Cromarty while at Fortrose (it's worth a visit, and the viewpoint at the top of the Soutars is wonderful).
