Hi folks
I'm trying to get a social afternoon organised for some couples to get together for xmas drinks on Saturday 15th December. Anyone welcome but we need a good few folk to make it work. Might get folk meeting again with the chance to meet new faces and regular nights out. If you are interested in attending please email me.

Why do you think that Kola? If someone is going out for a few drinks in edinburgh and fancy meeting others for a drink surely they can say who they would like to meet. Its not an organised do with a paying venue or anything. Just another hijacking of a perfectly innocent post. Original post by someone wanting to meet like minded people. |

Your getting picky on words here. A couple post an innocent post and you hijack it. These people have said what they are wanting to do and like the typical single males on here the dummy goes out the pram cos they dont want you. |

Hijack exactly how am I hijacking it ? As for dummy out the cot couldn't be further from the truth people can do as they please I will always have my laughs n jokes but you can't dress something up as a social when you are saying I will decide who comes and who doesnt keep smiling and enjoy not all single guys are monsters  |

Actually...as it was me that posted the original post i feel i have to say that although i said couples i also said anyone is welcome....i maybe just didnt word it very well. We dont meet with single guys but we have no problem with some single guys or even single females attentding in the slightest. The last time i tried to organise a social drink evening we were inundated with single guys and not many couples and as its only couples we meet we would really prefer more couples to come along as its a way to get folk meeting. So folks feel free for single guys to come along and lets not squabble over these things....lifes too short!! |

Ooooofft I think it's perfectly acceptable to only want couples if that's your thing I'd defo not say no to a singles only social anyhow I do believe myself bubbly and ms McGill already have plans for a wee girly luncheon that day |

As i said earlier...maybe should have worded it clearer...anyone is welcome....but its more couples we are looking to meet rather than being inundated with single guys as we dont meet them but have no problem with meeting socially. Anyway....im still trying to talk hubby into meeting single guys....  |

Is it likely that it'll go on past the afternoon? We both work till 5 and we'd love to have a nicht on the town.
We're in a wee shop in a wee town, might be our only Xmas crowd night this year!! |
