we have only been indulging in this lifestyle choice for 3 yrs or so, and technology makes it extremely easy to manage our choices! can anyone tell us what life was like before pc,s and mobiles! was it keys on the tables in clubs? just curious as to what went on as with peoples busy lifestyles i can only assume people even struggle for time behind a keyboard these days so i would think it was a lot harder years ago!! cheers,x |

I think for many of my age group we didnt see it as swinging but more as promiscuity its only as time has evolved we now know its was more a case of swining than anything else lol  |

There were swinging magazines and you sent a pic to a po box with your £5 cheque.
Took weeks to get a response if you ever did get one back. I think one magazine was called Candid... but not 100% |

Contact mags took ages but at least you knew advertisers, especially guys, had had to put their hand in the wallet and run the risk of someone at their home address finding out about their special form of pervery.
Slow it might have been but a lot more certain is surely was. |

It was Rendezvous contact magazine for us, £1 to answer 3 ads! That was back in 1981. Very slow to get a reply and arrange to meet, but still great fun. Photos were the problem because if you took naughty pics you couldn't get them developed anywhere and the Kodak Instamatic camera was really expensive for a film...... Oh, the good old days!! |

Mine was just word of mouth and parties...but I got involved at an early age and soon found myself hooked on the horny people I met...still meet some of them to this day...and yes they still as bad... |

We're from the Scottish Highlands. Until a few years ago it was a case of burning crosses with smoke signals between mountains, or shaving horny messages and invites into roaming wild goats |

A couple of parties and where I grew up there were these phone dating lines that you could leave voicemail messages for people after listening to their adverts. I just made myself available to couples! |
