I’m looking to organise a small pre drinks soirée for those individuals (and couples) who are attending the Aberdeen social this Saturday. Predrinks are always a great way of quelling nerves before walking into the main event.

I sure did. Reminds me of when I first came to Scotland in March quite a few years ago now -still a crisp winter chill in the air. A colleague came to pick me up in her shorts and sleeveless top all excited about the bbq we were having later that day. And there's me dressed for wintersports |

Massive thanks again to the organisers of the big social
And well what can I say the prizes in the raffle were fabulous and then some !, seemed our tables luck was on top form last night
I was the one in the green flowery dress who supplied the first pack of polos !! I can’t be held responsible for the folk who then went to Sainsbury’s to buy more to keep the game going the rest of the night xx
I’m soooooooo crap at remembering usernames/names and sorry to those who I didn’t get the chance to chat to

Ah the polo game you legend!
I’m pretty sure I was passed a packet and a half or so, which is both flattering and unbelievable, especially considering I was dressed as a toddler |

Polo game was genius, when Violet texted me to grab a pack on my way in a though “hang on, is she trying to tell me something”
Had an amazing time for being my first social, thanks Gerbera and Rebel for organising and thank you to Violet, J, Regina and the rest of the Glasgow folks for taking me under their wings and making sure I didn’t end up sat at a table by myself
Will definitely be coming to more! |
