I've been on this site since it was first created prob eight days or so after, i was given the link by my good friends and joined and have seen lots come n go and return.
But the forums is getting a touch out of hand these days the rubbish thats being posted with same topics thats only been posted a few weeks before then posted the following week by another member and when the op ask for comments and dont like what comes back in return starts having a go at others because they have had thier freedom of speech. if you dont want comments then dont bloody post your shit. Its the same old people posting crap all the time Jesus post decent things not silly things its a adult site after all not a school where the ie snog shag avoid post gets slightly changed taking one thing out and adding another . Others post then leave the site right after. Some post a topic and dont even relate to the actual post when you read it come on people grow up and start some decent post in the forums, the forums used to be a good place but now its full of crap , full of argue-mental people who cant handle criticism.
Any way had my Rant and awaits the childish responses i know alot of people think the same as me but havent got the balls to post .

I couldn't agree more Bren. Used to get a great laugh at some of the posts, but like you say, recently, it has become a forum for getting digs at others or a popularity contest. I have met so many wonderful people on here and hope to meet many more and long live the laughter (as well as the fun)  |

I have to agree , have seen folks goading others after a post and do it often to the same person. It seems there is personal vendettas or at least thats how it comes across.
I agree with the OP when she says folks need to act like adults and learn to accept we dont all have the same opinions but we should be adult enough to agree to disagree , here here and plus one op |

Totally agree with you Bren, everyone seems to have forgotten that we are all here to have FUN. Tbh I havent posted much since I came back and thats because I cant find anything I want to comment on, or get involved in petty squabbles, so i end up reading and not commenting. Yes some will say then put up your own posts blah blah blah, but reading what I have on here recently hasn't inspired me to do so. |

We used to use the forums as a way of keeping in touch with the happenings of FABS, both good and bad. Unfortunately not the case these days. Brennie in our _iew you are spot on. Too many folk forget to engage brain before typing! |

Couldn't agree more Bren, there is more and more crap from people getting kicks out of nothing. We replied to a post and said what we thought and were banned from posting abything because it may have been taken as offensive. Please folks in future stick to what this is about and leave all your crap for any other site in which you want to place it |

Most forums do end up this way after a while. As always its the few who decide to spoil it for the many. Ive seen a few posts lately and some threads made that are clearly just being made to provoke reactions out of people. Not just on the scotland forum but in the fantasys etc forums.
Partly why im hardly using here anymore cause I cant be arsed with arguments lol |

I post quite often, usualy in relation to something which i feel is relevant at the time due to something ive read or heard. I am also guilty of posting things that are tongue and cheek that goes over peoples heads and it annoys some users, which was not the intention, even so i try and respond to each person. |

The forums are quite a simple concept.
Put up an original post,people then make a choice whether or not to reply to that original post.
Opposing opinions will then ensue.
all people will not always post,relevant to op.
many posts are misread as malicious,or demeening,more due to the mood of the person reading the posts .rather than any malice on the posters part.
Sometimes it gets,a bit out of hand,but thats just forums in general.
take everything said,with a pinch of salt.
it makes everything a bit more pallatable.
You seem like a lovely person bren,and hope this is not to much in opposition to your own _iews.
Maybe if people like yourself posted more,the kind of forums you enjoyed,would return. |

To my mind the ones worse ones are the ones that somehow seem to turn a lot of the posts to religious bigotry eg there was a post about the SAS sargeant who was jailed and some moron hijacked the post by talking about the soldier killed in Afghan a cpl weeks ago.
Captain Walter Barries will funeral will take place he was a Rangers supporter which will ensure at least %age of the population will rejoic.
I mean what kind of person would come out with a statement like that?
The forums are def different its fine having a little debate about subjucts but when the hatred comes in close the thread.

I'm afraid I think some people fear contradicting what they are on for.
some think we should all be strangers, just really having very little to do with eachothers lives...yet I know this isnt true..based on the friendships of myself and others.
Some are against the very things the site promotes: sexual freedoms and expressions...
Some people class themselves as swingers, yet one half doesnt actually play..but are quite happy to point out singles arent swingers as they have nothing to share.They class some as bednotchers,some as sluts(of course then there are those who like dom/sub play-its perfectly acceptable to alot of people...but not that acceptable when it concerns one woman having more than a handful of partners in one go)(thank fuck MrGrey came on the scene to make everything better lol).Some dont think people should be masturbating on cam...or watching it.Your not a swinger if u dont attend socials etc etc...absolute rubbish!(there are plenty of parties that start..u guessed it 'socially')
I do think since chat got shite, more have come onto the forums to talk shit really...some have just been plainly banned from chatrooms and decided they can bully around on here..swipe a dig here and there.
dunno why it appears more in the scottish forum though...

I do enjoy the odd post snog shag avoid but it's like every other day there's a new one and its the same people replying but forums anywhere else moderators tend to delete repetitive posts straight away or close them and point people in direction of an original post on the same topic, yes it's great that fab more popular as there's more choice but not so great when the site struggles to moderate it, it's become a victim of its own success no longer is it the baby of a swinging couple who gave people means to a lifestyle but now a very lucrative money making site !
I still enjoy the forums and the chat rooms but am I cliquey when I say I prefer it when it's full of peeps who have been around since I first joined four years ago ? |

But the forums is getting a touch out of hand these days the rubbish thats being posted with same topics thats only been posted a few weeks before then posted the following week by another member and when the op ask for comments and dont like what comes back in return starts having a go at others because they have had thier freedom of speech. if you dont want comments then dont bloody post your shit. Its the same old people posting crap all the time Jesus post decent things not silly things its a adult site after all not a school where the ie snog shag avoid post gets slightly changed taking one thing out and adding another . Others post then leave the site right after. Some post a topic and dont even relate to the actual post when you read it come on people grow up and start some decent post in the forums, the forums used to be a good place but now its full of crap , full of argue-mental people who cant handle criticism.

I have to say I agree to a certain extent. There are certain posts that are repetitive and dull. Kiss/shag/avoid, Help me with my profile, People don't reply etc....
I made a suggestion in the forum feedback that the repetitive posts like "Why don't people reply" have a sticky at the top of the forum list so that there is a thread people can look at before they post their own duplicate.
As for the other posts and people point scoring and being abusive. Well that's just real life and what happens whenever a group of people are together in one place. From schools to Offices everywhere there will be a clique, a bully, a bitch, a knob, a coven of witches, some pretty boys and the popular girls. That's the social nature of humans and you can't change it.
Just make your own intelligent posts and ignore the rest is my advice.

Nope but as you can see others have the same opinion about the crap that's in the forums day in day out and by the same people and then all the nasty comments that go along with the post perhaps if you were well known on the site and you have been here a few years you would know what I / WE all mean so sick of people being so damn nasty to others and it gets so out of hand, the insults that great said can be sometimes horiffic . we're new here, and have also noticed this, we rarely post in forums.
Some people put some harsh and unjustified comments to OP's.
But i know people will say its a forum and people can write what they like, but we wouldn't say anything in the forums we wouldn't say in person. But at least its not just us that noticed this.
