its not that bad, i had it done 3 years ago and think the technique has came a long way. the op is seriously done in about 20 min with minor discomfort.
the brusing afterwards looks awful but disappeared quickly.

Had mine done years ago. 20 questions as to why from the Doc, lots of What ifs. Shave before you go. Local anaesthetic. Just felt cold when the snip was done. Felt fine that day. Felt like a groin strain the next day. 1 day off work due to that. Back the next.
A mate had nearly a week off as his wound got infected and got swollen.

I had to get mine done 15 miles away 
Nah, joking aside it was general anaesthetic for myself and they had to bump me up with atropine as being very fit at that time my slow beating heart went down to 33bpm  |

My hubby had it done, it didn’t work the first time. When he went for the sample there were still swimmers. Second time he got it done was under general anaesthetic. After that he was in a hell of a lot of pain, in and out of GP and then 3 trips to A&E, given antibiotics and sent home,Before he was emergency rushed in for an operation to drain the poison out his testicle. Docs said it was the worst swelling and infection after a vasectomy they’d saw and was almost verging on septis. So good luck to anyone and hope it’s a better experience than his. Lol |

I should add, my hubby was kept in on liquid morphine and was told he he may loose his testicle. Luckily it was saved, although the feeling isn’t the same in it for him now. But that was a true horror and most guys are fine. |

It is a risk and I feel for anyone that has had issues from it. For me it's the best thing ever. Was quick and not painful just a little uncomfortable at the time and for a couple of days afterwards. After that game on! |
