Hope I spelt the subject. Would be interested as to why I'm getting very little replies to the messages I fire off to people. Is it the norm not to reply with a simple NO. I find it rude not to reply, at least with a reply it would safe time in the long run. No follow up messages or simple block the profile. Am I alone in this. |

You are not alone in thinking that. Did you read the FAQ's at all? Because it states there very clearly that you should take a non response as a not interested, that it isn't rude and that you're not entitled to a reply. |

If I Don't reply it just means a simple no, I have that written in my profile..I used to reply with a sorry not what I'm looking for at the moment but it opens you up to receiving abuse
I always read the profile if I receive a message and if it's not what I'm looking for I simply delete |

If I've decided not to reply to a message, it means I'm not interested but that doesn't stop that guy sending a second and third message. At that point, I message to say you've already messaged me two times and tell them I'm not interested, then block him x |

If people don't find you attractive they won't reply, it's as simple as that I'm afraid. |

If I'm messaging someone out the blue I always add "feel free just to delete and I'll know to leave you in peace".
And without wishing to sound harsh you also have to be realistic. Fab is dealer's choice for females. I'm already of opinion that I'll be too old soon and I'm in late 40s. If youre in 60s then demand will be limited. Harsh but true. |

I'm curious why you think it would save time?
It wouldn't save time for the person having to reply 'no thanks' to every message they didn't want surely?
Even when you do reply no thanks, then comes the follow up messages of why not.

If this is all about etiquette and manners, does this mean I need to say no thank you to every bam who phones me from a call centre trying to flog me something?
Or are manners and etiquette only to be extended to someone who has expressed an interest in inserting his penis in me?
I've been called a "rude cunt". With regards to this area, I'm quite happy being a rude cunt. |

Exactly this
I never answer mails from folk I'm not interested in , even saying a simple no thanks opens ye up to another mail and another after that before ye know it your 3 mails in and being called up ur own arse , a slag ( albeit fussy one) . |

Only message people who are looking for what you offer. For example age limits. No point messaging someone with an upper age limit of 50 when you are way above that.
30 seconds turns into an hour of back and forth trying to get that point across. Yet some still can't grasp the meaning of the word No! |

Op do you reply to all the junk mail you get at home ?
I bet you don’t do it’s no different on here !
People are free to pick & choose who they want to correspond with .
The site itself says to just accept a no reply as a not interested.
I think most would assume that’s the case if they got no reply to their emails .
My thanks but no thanks is on my profile |

OP this is streight from the site FAQ's. People aren't being rude, it's just a polite thanks but no thanks. Dont take it to heart or it will just eat away at you.
There are too many rude people on here who don't reply to my messages!
It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you should assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?
