Hey Fabbers,
I’ve just moved to Edinburgh and was wondering if there are any organised socials? The vibe I’m generally getting is that Glasgow seems to be a lot more active. Is this right?

That’s a fair point. Honestly never having organised a fab social I would the idea quite daunting. There would be so much to think about in terms making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. I’m full of the upmost respect for those who do organise events. I’ve heard so many stories of the challenges and often negativity.
Aside from that I don’t know the city at all and only 1 or 2 people in it. This is why I was hoping there was something already established.
I also realise I’m not helping the situation by saying I’m looking for a social event but won’t organise one myself.
Maybe if enough people show interest we can put something together. |
