Hi how are you thanks for reading this post is just to warn everyone iv recently had a bad experience from someone who was on here we didnt meet just swapped a couple of messages and pictures between eachother they deleted theyr account a couple of weeks ago anyway over the weekend i was contacted by many friends and family about a facebook that was created from someone with pictures of chats and pictures i had send to the above person they added all my friends and family still dont understand why they have done and how they managed to trace me its just to warn everyone to be extra careful and hopefully it doesnt happen again just makes it harder for people to get trusting meets hope this doesnt happen to anyone else as facebook are hopeless thanks for reading |

Someone I know who is on plenty of fish had her photos on there used by a female on here trying to pass herself off as my friend. Word got out and she got a lot of hassle. I reported it for her and obviously they were kicked off....but surely the folk who run this site must have a good idea who these scumbags are????? |

Thanks everyone i didnt give out any personal info apart from my first name i use a different email address from the one for on here its pretty scary thing  |

I had a similar sort of a problem when my photo's from Fabs turned up on Facebook. The pics were somehow spotted by a person from my home town - you can only begin to imagine the problems I've had ever since!

thats sad that the person went to all that effort to do such a thing. they must know you from off this site to have done all that just from a first name and pic. hope its all ok with family and friends |

It is really sad that there are individuals out there who make it their purpose to cause others grief.
I thankfully dont have the worry of being 'outed' as my friends n family know i use the site , but i do feel for those who feel the need to keep it discreet. |

Omg that's just awful and malicious I feel for you x also one of the reasons for not using face pics and bring very wary of who I add as friends and allow to even see my private gallery it's unfortunate that people are like this bit hope it doesn't put you off as there are lots of nice genuine folk on here |

Did you tell them where you worked?

The thing is that every with a small bit of information it can be easy enough to track folk down if you want to.
I proved not that long ago to someone on POF that she had put way too much information on her page.
Just lets say I proved it to her (in a very nice way and not stalking). She was shocked to say the least that from some stuff she posted that her address could be found out etc etc.
So I would say yes be careful. There are sick b'stards out there who will do anything for kicks.
