So... I have a wedding reception / evening do on Saturday night (16th) in Glasgow. I've never been just an evening guest before. Is it appropriate to wear my kilt?

Cheers.

You’ll be popular with the girls if you wear it.

You can if you wish ,but night guests tend to be a bit less formal.Whatever you decide have a good one,and stay away from the shots

A kilt, but without the Bonnie Prince Charlie jacket and paraphernalia perhaps?

I agree with Falcon, you'd be very popular, I'm sure.

If we are going to just the evening the hubby will always have the kilt on but rather than full Highland dress usually paired with a jacobite shirt

If your scottish and going to a wedding either full day or evening then you wear a kilt as a guy its just the norm…

Depending on the full or night guess is what you wear with the kilt
