the higher the shelf in tescos the more expensive the wine, but on saying that the more expensive isn't always the most drinkable

whats the wine for? is it to drink with a certain food? or as a gift... hundreds of questions lol

Pinot grigio is a good safe one if you want to spend a bit more a nice sancerre

Stourbridge

I(mr) drink both red and white. If you want to give a good quality white wine then Chablis or Sancerre are good and around your budget.

I'm a big believer that you drink what you enjoy, and if you enjoy Lambrini then that's fine, it's no one else's business.

Glenrothes

Any Aussie "cool climate" wine such as the Yarra Valley region near Melbourne is fab imho. Excellent wine tasting tours too if you get the chance.

.

They make a lovely Range of scottish wines and always taste lovely.. and you cant go wrong with them as gifts as they look really expensive..

.

we found a butchers/deli shop in bathgate that sells loads of different bottles..

If it tastes good to you and you can afford it,but it.... but if it doesn't...don't - irrelevant of the label. Anyone who tells you anything else is a pretentious git. Fact. (From an ex-whisky industry, on production ,employee...which is another alcoholic @ marketeers).... Taste it...simples. And, again, don't listen to any other pretentious gits who tell you otherwise...
