Hey guys, had a meet recently, & porter stood outside door, threatening to call police.. Was funny at time, though would prefer to have peace. Any suggestions?

Most hotels are clamping down more ,bigger ones will be easier to get past.We prefer meets at ours that way we can do as we please when we want

If you want peace get a private apartment rather than hotel.

No idea, I'm lost. Damn Sat nav!

Most hotels are fine altho some are now putting on door men after 10pm so as long as your guests arrive before then it shouldnt be a problem .

Just a suggestion, can we maybe up the discretion on this one,, i mean recent events etc,, but suddenly its ok, to specify hotels? For all, and i mean All to see.

Paisley

Grand Central in Glasgow, expensive but reception on ground floor and as far as anyone is concerned guests could be going to the bar on first floor. Its an old hotel with thick walls.

Appartment's are just as good value if not better than hotels, cum and go as you please, litrally without looking over your shoulder all the time

Citizen M

The entrance is on the ground floor.

Straight in a lift and up to the room.

The reception is on the first floor.

There is NO ONE in the foyer on the ground floor to check up

Ibis Hotel, W.Regent St.

Ibis budget, Springfield Quay.

No problems/issues, no 'over the shoulder' looking, they'll happily give you 2 keycards, and don't bat an eyelid if/when you return the key a few hours after checking in!

And they're cheap!!

Glasgow Central is a great hotel and discreet as someone said because of there also being a public bar, great for a champagne meet

The Premier Inn just behind the City Chambers is fine - they even asked me when I took a woman there for the afternoon if I wanted to pay cash - guess they knew it was a meet! Also there is a box for putting the key card in as you leave so you dont need to go back to the desk to do it after a couple of hours.
