Just how many timewasters have you encounterd ?
Ive been here five years and had been stoodup twice in all that time which i think isnt too bad so is this site as bad for timewatsers as some believe ? |

The real timewasters are those who are on this site with no intention of ever meeting anyone. Spend ages chatting etc then they back down. We have been very lucky in that we have rarely been let down for actual meets and when we have it has been for genuine reasons |

I usually avoid reading the timewaster threads but I suspect most of the complaints come from guys.
Guys who haven't undertaken elementary investigations before racing halfway across the country in pursuit of what was never going to be a shag. |

omg totally agree with you so many go on about not here to chat just want to meet shag and get on with it but i think thats where the problem lies way too many guys just jump on here put a meet add up set one up without really knowing who with and it goes tits up then they throw a wobbly lol |

I don't really bother with timewaster threads either but I think everyone has their own idea of a timewaster. For example, 2nite I spoke to a couple who asked for a face pic & cock pic but didn't produce a face pic & when I said where I was in Glasgow they said I was too near so no meet. Now, some guys might rant on about them being timewasters but they are well verified by a variety of people & I tend to believe that they do live close to me & were wary.
Of "traditional" timewasters, I've yet to be stood up or be promised a meet that didn't materialise for no good reason. Well no, there was one who talked about meeting but then disappeared. I tend to find that I either get no response (most common) a polite no ta, or chat & it may go somewhere.

Once in the beginning due to inexperience. Chatted for a few days by mail and exchanged face pics. Then phone calls. Detected nothing to suggest I was dealing with a mentalist. Arranged to meet after work on the Friday. Agreed time and place to meet for a drink. Texted before leaving. All ok. Went along and waited for her. Silence  No apology. No reason. Went off to meet some friends instead. Checked fab again a couple of hours later to see she'd put up another meet today request.
Infuriating behaviour, but a good learning experience and water off a duck's back. Hasn't happened again. It's not an exact science. Shit happens.
Oh, I also met a woman who turned up too d*unk to have a proper conversation. But at least she showed! So can't call her a timewaster. Just a waster. Polite excuses were made |

Possible one we classed as time wasters, which isn't bad for 13 years on and off swing.
Basically we met the couple, despite their photos being grossly out of date we didn't class them as time wasters till we met. Got home and the goal posts had moved as to what and wasn't allowed.
The reason we class them as time wasters? Was we traveled a good hour in car to meet them as they had no transport. We thought we were doing them a good turn.

Possibly folks shout "timewasters" too quickly, as mentioned, by relatively new folk, who, joined the site, thought you just ping a message, chat a bit, meet, BOOM, nae bother.
Theres another brand of timewaster though,, "the busy-boy", their so spoilt for choice, juggling options, forgetting who they said yes, might do, can do and the best one, "count me in i will be there", pocket full of excuses to hand when they realise they have cocked up though, always. |

That's a good point Onny. I met a girl last week and she said she'd backed out of a meet recently because some bloke got it out and had a totey todger. Said she gave him some vaguely believable reason and felt bad for him but just wasn't attracted anymore and couldn't do it. He' probably say she's a timewaster but she's certainly not. |

I generally have had more Luck on other normal dating sites we being honest what I'm after . Never been stood up and things have progressed 80 percent of time the rest has been they decide they want more .
Maybe need to get to a party to get better known on scene

This goes back to the interpretation of 'timewaster' , we all seem to think of it differently. For me a timewaster is someone who arranges to meet and then just doesnt turn up , no explanation , no contact .
I think we have to accept that this site attracts lots of different people and we all use the site for our own agenda, yes the pic collectors , yes the guys who just want masturbation fodder on cams and of course the attention seekers who come in chat get the cams on and have the guys all over them telling them they are gorgeous etc but when u check out the profiles they are verified only be webcam been on the site a year and never had an actual meet , to some they may be timewasters but a little nosing around in their profile shows the signs.

Only been stood up after putting myself out once, and that was on another site.
Been chatting to another TV for a few days, we both wanted to meet. Arranged a time, she was an hour away. I text before I left, still ok. She gave me her area postcode and said she'd direct me when I got there as it was a bit tricky. I thought fair enough. Arrived, called, no answer.
Lesson learned.
Timewasters usually (not always) don't have pics, veris (other than cam) or much info on profile. They may be chatty but when you mention definite dates/times to meet always become vague or clam up completely.
Having done it a while now I think I have a handle on the idiots. And on the rare occasion I'm stood up now its always when I've made sure I haven't put myself to trouble to meet. |

Heard some great excuses why didn't come

As u all know from various posts on here i have had a few time wasters but now i just take it folk were never taught good manners Ive also been called a time waster because ive taken my time getting to know people well i have very broad shoulders and can take that this isjust par for the course at times in here .But hey ho such is life  |

Shocking way to treat people I've even known some guys who have initially met up socially with people then went on to arrange play meets only to be left sitting in hotel rooms waiting for for them to arrive and been let down ..sickening way to treat people who have gone to the trouble of sorting out the room leaving them financially out of pocket too . |

Been let down twice once by a couple after i traveled to fife they never met me in the prearranged location the other time was when a single lady txted me to say she couldn't make after I had reached the met point granted she did contact me
But still lots of genuine folks on here who have done what they said they would |

been stood up twice on here by two couples ....just hope they dont ever contact us again...some folk got a right cheek to call others time wasters when they do it also....other than that we have met some real genuine cpls...long may that continue |

A fair few time wasters and the worst offenders for standing me up are the guys who have been on here the longest and seemingly have a good reputation for meets I guess it must be something wrong with me eh |
