In Edinburgh for a weekend away with my pal. Just wondering what is the best area for a night out. I seem to remember being here with the hubby that there was a street that ran parallel with Princes Street on the opposite side of waverley Station that was quite lively. Is this still the case. |

"Rose Street, it is still there. It doesn't have as many pubs as it used to but there are still quite a few as well as restaurants.
Would that be the best area to head for"
^ The Grassmarket is good as well. George Street has a few bars as well, it's just one over from Rose Street. |

Is Leith not the red light area
Used to be. Not really a red light area these days in Edinburgh. All online and saunas. Remember the pubic triangle!"
Pubic triangle is still on the go lol it refers to the 3 strip clubs and is much closer to grassmarket than leith.
