We are starting to feel there is more to swinging than just the sex have had our time of just the sex years ago but now feel there has to be respect and trusting before any fun begins is this a age thing or just us being silly now or to open when we were younger ?

If "discuss" is a genuine invitation, is it possible some people (couples AND singles) feel the need to justify their activities on the grounds of having 'some sort of relationship' with the people they have sex with? |

I never asked for justification and never asked if you had to have a relationship with them i was asking is it a age thing where as when we were younger would gladly have fun with most people without having a bit of respect for them or us but now we we feel we do |

depends...I have different kinds of meets...most will involve sex, but I can sit n watch a dvd etc with a swing friend on occasions.I just wouldnt pigeonhole myself into one type of meetup ie just here for sex |

Isn't that an example of what meets 'can' develop into?
It may very well and understandably start as just sex but evolve into something a bit more complex but (hopefully) without any misunderstandings on either side about the limits. |

But isn't it simply that swinging is different things to different people, and if you've been involved in it for a number of years then it is very possible that it can evolve into something different to what it was when u started.
Personally, I prefer there to be a social aspect to it, but then some people run a mile from that idea because they're worried about emotions getting involved.
Much is said about couples being 100% secure in their own relationship before starting to swing, but I think singles need something similar. They need to decide and know exactly what they want out of it. |

If only it was that simple.
Some cpls need to know what we had for our,dinner everynight and want to go for dinner before we have sex...

Agree with original post. I don't think it's 'age', it's just wishing to have a comfortable time, as safe, but horny as possible for all concerned. I personally think that your approach is a good one. Have fun |

we have to say there is more to swinging than sex it can take time but we have been on and off fab a few times over the last few years but still got some great friendswe can meet for a social night and the sex is just extra the better you know your friends the better the social side and sex side are v&k xxx |
