Social before Ecclesia on 27 May

Since the social for the 13th was popular I will organise another social event so we can meet up before walking the short distance to the club.

Social will be 7.00-9.00pm at a venue in the G1 area. Anyone not going to Ecclesia is welcome to come along but please note that you cannot enter Ecclesia without previously being booked in. Fx

Formal socials usually involve hiring a venue, DJ and sometimes a buffet. They take a lot of organising and the organisers are out of pocket covering the expenses until the nominal fee is paid. Venues often require a minimum number of people to attend. They are also usually on for several hours.

A meet up before a club is usually about 2 hours and allows people to get to know each other before going. It also gives newbies and singles some support and helps calm any nerves. Although I don’t pay a deposit I will be charged if I don’t show up.
