could you live without sex?

nope, wouldnt happen for me. Call me whatever name / insult you like but sex is a huge part of my life and i simply wouldnt live without it. I have ended relationships in the past because i couldnt get what i wanted |

Why would you have to live without it anyhow???...theres always ways and means as this site proves...however it must be easier for you ladies than us guys given the statistical ratios... |

thats fine for single but what about couples where one goes of sex and the other still has needs how do people cope in this situation ?

if its for health reasons then thats a diffrent story,i have been there and wasnt aloud penetrative sex for 12 weeks ,we got round it and had partys where i could watch and have soft play.Guess its each to their own ,some may not want their partner to go play alone but always ways around it i would think.

Yeah i agree i had this discussion once with my pertner when i was ill and wasnt sure how things were going to pan out, and we both decided that we would just have to deal with it the best way we could but that nothing would come between us in a loving relationship and if that ment no sex then so be it . |

Is like if you partner ends up in wheelchair not want to jinks anyone just means you try new positions not just leave them because they can't do it the way they used to |

see i base my answer on the situations i was in. When i was in those relationships, there was no option to involve others for sex. So it was simply a case of do with out, or cheat.
I stand by my principles (most of the time) and decided on those occasions i'd rather be on my own than lie about what i was doing |

its not lying as such...its just not telling...just cause yoir in a relatioship doesnt mean you have no right to some privacy... |

Interesting topic.
It really depends on how you determine sex ? From a couples perspective,If it is purely a shag, then yes I could as I have plenty toys that can scratch the itch so if for some reason he went off it, it wouldn't be a problem.
What I couldn't do without is the affection/cuddles etc that plays a big part of our relationship. |

personally think thats a bit of a cop out. Guess its whatever makes you feel better i suppose.
If you ever get caught cheating you could always say, well its your fault for not talking about my options for me getting sex cause you dont give me enough? |

Eventually however, I realised he wasn't going to change and that, together with other matters, caused me to end the relationship. I would never allow that to happen again. |

This is exacyly the problem I face and the answer is no. My wife went off sex over the lat 20 years, from 2 or 3 times a day to now 1 or 2 times a quarter! Im climbing the walls, tried talking about it many times to no avail. Even when we do, she says things like 'there you go' and makes me feel like a rapist at times.
About 10 years ago I suggested swinging to spice things up, ffs the reaction was not what I expected, ending in 'If you want to go and do it thats up to you, but im not'.
I dont want to leave her and its driving me crazy stayin!Basically thats why I am here!

No we both couldnt do without sex as it is a big part of our relationship ,we have been together a long time and since been on here it has just betterx |

Was in a Marriage out of 5 yrs. 3 was none sex. and in the whole 5 yrs we only did it about 10 times . Not alot of love in that marriage.

Yes i could live without sex if something happened to me or my other half(god forbid.)There are other ways to arouse a partner without penetration etc. And as long as you show your love in other ways then that's all that counts. XxCxX |

As above, if something developed and caused my wife to lose all sexual motivation and had no sexual physical contact, then yes i would do without. I would never suggest going it alone. Sex is a large part but not everything or even the most important part of our relatiionship! My girl is my life and i would support her 100%. |
