Well it's offically winter,frost and snow has arrived and now the clocks have changed.

So what's our favourite winter nosh and home made soup?

Hotpot for me and chicken soup or minestroni with a big chunk of bread!

Oooo not had home made rice pudding in years, do you add an egg yoke and bake in the oven?

home made chicken broth, home made steak pie mashed tatties and veg, and rice pudding or rhubarb crumble n custard mmmmmmm

most of it's all over processed crap, altho, some of it's ok for quickness,cannae beat home made, it's full of flavour and goodness my boy!!! Xx

Home made lentil soup or Scotch Broth

Steak n Sausage pie with mash, garden peas or sausages braised in red wine and the same extras.

With Squidgy Chocolate log and courvasier whipped cream.

Pots of leek and potato soup or broths.

A full roast or a casserole, or lamb cassoulet...... mmmmmm

and of course baked rice or crumbles or eve's pudding with cream. yummmmm,

Oh the lovely haggis neeps and tatties for us or... Roast beef with all the trimmings and home made soup is always a winner here

Tonight we are having home made veg soup followed by a roast beef dinner with loads of veg, mashed potatoes and yorkshire puddings
