Anyone off out for Halloween? What's your costume and your party piece? I'm out as a vampire dungeon mistress, and I'm gonna be sexay dancing!

I don't trick or treat because I'm not an American.

Main difference?

Guising = originally to scare evil from your neighbour's door, and followed by a party piece.

Trick-or-treat = demanding goods with menaces

Thanks for history lesson. I only used the phrase as a forum title however, because some younger members mightn't have known what guising is, and didn't mention it in my thread.
