Hi, im looking recommendations for hotels in Glasgow for when I stay there soon. Wanting somewhere if possible for easy access to get a 3rd person upto the rooms without any issues! Is it possible to give the 3rd person the room number for them to make there own way to the room or does all hotels have key coded lifts.

"Any hotels I've stayed in recently need the keycard to access the lifts.
I was in the PremierInn at Buchanan Galleries a few weeks ago, the views from the windows are amazing. "
Is it OK to ask at the desk saying we have a guest for a few hours or is this asking to much. |

Hotels in Glasgow where you don't need a key card and the person can just go straight to your room that I know of are:
Grand Central, Raddison Blu, Motel One, Marriot. Hilton Double Tree. Premier Inn Charing Cross (although may have changed now). Point Hotel.
Hope this helps ??

Look for serviced apartments rather than hotels would be my recommendation we have used them a few times and so much better than a hotel . It’s about £85 a night but you have no issues with anyone and a lovely flat !! |

Most of the hotels in Glasgow don’t need cards for the lifts. Premier Inn tend to need cards in the majority of their hotels. Easiest way is to get two cards and then go up one person then as a couple.
Some rooms also have two beds which is handy. A double and a single or two doubles. Check the room options when booking.
You may want to check parking restrictions as well.
Have fun x |

It's perfectly ok for yous to book in x yous will get a card each for your room x all you have to do is give the card to the person who your are going to meet x it's definitely not a problem x |

I can't imagine that being an issue. Why shouldn't you have a visitor if you wish. It could be a family member for all they know. |

As someone who's worked in that industry - they know EXACTLY what is going on but don't give a damn. |

"Anyone ever found a willing participant just from hanging about the corridors in the hotel after pub kickout time?"
It does and can happen, especially when drink is involved but it's risky. You approach the wrong person and you could get into trouble.
Are you in Glasgow 29th wknd? |
