Hi everyone
We're Chigs and Crystelle, a pretty new "fab couple" and we're planning on visiting CJs in August for the first time. Chigs had been to a few clubs previously, but as a single guy and it will be Crystelles first time.
We would just like a bit of advice as a new couple on what to expect, and perhaps what night's are best for newbies as such? We're planning on a Saturday night, but open to suggestions.
We're both relatively experienced, separately and together, and have a few fun plans between now and August in the planning stages.
We're hoping to make a few friends between now and then to chat to and hopefully arrange a few pre drinks etc with.
Thanks in advance you beautiful people

Don't expect anything.
Just remember you'll be with a lot of people there for the same reasons as you.
Just think of it like a social with like-minded people and a good way to meet new friends.
As for what night would be best - It's up to yourself really. Take a look at the events posted to see if any appeal. You'll be made welcome no matter when you go.
You'll get a quick tour of the place. Just make sure to have a re-read of the signs, which are mostly on a notice board at the top of the stairs.
I'd say to go on a Fun For All night as you'll meet a greater variety of the types of people that go.

Hi Mandy
Thank you so much for your advice, it sound's like a good idea to treat it as a big social.
The fun for all night does appeal too.
Thank you

You say your both relatively experienced and 1 half of you have been to clubs before so not sure what more you could gain tips wise. I know cjs doesn't differ from any other club apart from the clientele. Enjoy yer visit guys. |

You'll get a tour of the place when you go in. All the socialising is downstairs and there's a bar with free soft drinks but you can bring in alcohol too. Playrooms are upstairs if you get lucky, which I'm sure you will. Relax and chat to people and you'll have a great time. Good luck x |

Ah but the golden rule is to tell people you are going. Or even just thinking of going. That's more important than actually attending. |

Good tip, stand by for 13 more meet at cjs threads over the next 2 weeks. It never used to bother me but the Scotland forum is just the new 'meet' section of Fab. |

"Try and attend some socials before going and meet some people. There’s usually pre drinks socials in Glasgow before some nights for CJs. It’s a great way to meet some people before going up.
"
Hey there
Thank you, yeah we're hoping to be able to do that, but we'll only be able to do it the night we're visiting. Unfortunately we won't be able to come down before then together.
We've been very fortunate to have a lot of lovely people getting in touch, so hopefully we'll be able to meet lot's of you when we're down.
