As far as I’m aware Ardeer has never been closed just work done near certain access points but you can access the beach from loads of different places |

Please don't take your clothes off at Ayr Beach. Certainly not this weekend. I'll be taking my elderly Mum out from her care home for a wee walk along the esplanade on Sunday.
The nudist beach is at Ardeer - not Ayr. |

Park on the penninsular car park then walk along the beach, past Burns mural and keep going to the far end. About 20-30 min gentle walk.
Strip off and enjoy.....very liberating being able to paddle naked x |

A great beach is Ardeer not the most picturesque but probably the busiest nude beach in scotland on a nice day had some scorchers over there they come from all over Fife Edinburgh up north Glasgow a. Rey popular beach looking forward to getting over soon |

There's a Kik group for ardeer .. the old ICI works area is massive and a rabbit Warren of derelict infrastructure and storage bunkers for explosives back in the day.. It's supposed to be off limits and I'm amazed the authorities havent clamped down on the crazy groups of kids partying on top of the old power station building, an 8 storey high rusting hulk of a death trap just a few yards off the beach. |
