Is it just me or does the sight of someone in a footie top on here an instant turn off?

Think the only time it’s acceptable for an adult to wear one is about the house or going to a game

In our opinion, the only acceptable time for an adult to be wearing football tops is if they are playing.

Never understood the supporters mentality and yes, they are a turn off.

No issue in principle with folk wearing football colours, what I can't be doing with is the folk who's entire life revolves around it. Usually the old firm. You see them in their tinder profiles and stuff, every pic has their colours of preference on it and their bio is some form of "XYZ team 'til I die'", man, if that's all you've got to live for I'm truly heartbroken for you!

TL;DR, not a turn off so long as it's not their entire personality.

We can't stand seeing kids in football tops, adults not quite as anti, not sure if it's just we have no time for footballers coming from a rugby background as i do. We like to buy rugby tops for the rugrats so probably just the bias.

I wear mines when working out or going to games wether that's me playing football or watching it.

Don't see the issue at all with someone wearing one elsewhere, I wouldn't wear one going out for dinner personally but I don't judge.

The absolute worst place to see someone wearing a football top is at the airport or at the beach or round the pool on holiday. At games of course but common now the airport really

Football tops are OK in wee boys

Once you reach 16 or so then they should be worn only if you actually play the game especially if you live in the West of Scotland

I actually gave up football at 21 because of the bile that follows it and that was in my own family.

So NO a big definitely NO for me and that includes women

Don't mind it if folk are actually heading to a game.

It's the kind you see who obviously live in them and would need dropped in a vat of sulphuric acid to get it off their back who give me the boak.

Unless I’m going to a game or I’ve ran out of gym T-shirts, you won’t see me in football kits outside of the house purely because I’m getting on a bit now.

I don’t judge people on what they choose to wear, I’d be more judgemental on those who do.

In the west.

Football tops should only be worn by kids and those actually playing a game.

They are too tribal, especially here in the west coast.

It's to be expected, I guess when adults wear them going to games but I don't think it looks nice on kids. If the child is old enough to say they don't want to wear one then the parents shouldn't force them to

Are you suggesting I'm bullying?

I don't think it's a good look to pretty much live in a football top (as many do in the West of Scotland). That was my point. But it's none of my business. I care as much about what folk wear as they probably do about my opinion.
