So i'm commuting and every lady boarding the bus is wearing black trousers. Got me thinking that its only within the last 50 or so years that women have routinely moved away from skirts to trousers. Ladies - is this due to changing fashion, or a progression of sex equality etc? Discuss. |

practicality i think... skirts are nice but not for bending, stretching, on n off buses etc. you just have to look at work uniforms these days to see what is more practical, eg like when i was a wee student nurse, we wore dresses and 'caps'... (those were the days) now its practically scrubs they wear, and no headgear |
