I read Samson's alternate history novel Dominion a few years ago. It was very goood.
At the moment, I am ploughing through the DCI Logan novels by J D Kirk, set in the Highlands. So far, there's about a dozen in the series. I read a lot of crime novels. |

I've struggled to read anything during the pandemic. Have a pile of books to work my way through.
I do prefer an actual book as opposed to reading devices. Not the same when they land on your face when you fall asleep mid page  |
