What would you consider "Athletic"?

Just wondered what everyones opinions are on profiles where body type is described as athletic and what you would consider an athletic body?
From the profiles we've browsed it seems ppl have very different ideas about this description (and some should be charged under the trade descriptions act  lol )
Your thoughts please.

athletic to me is six pack,,girls n guys.
slim is well slim lol
average is erm,,,12 to 16,,or curvy???
everything else is ample.
in my oppinion ??? not the written rule lol

...in myyyyyyyy opinion and it is only my opinion athletic means u have a great body, not average, not slim but great!!!! full 6-pack, toned in allll the rite places............and jst for the record athletic works for me lol xxx |

Good Question!
I am slim, not althletic (agrees athletic is six-pack, toned, tight thighs etc)
But I am thinking about putting on weight as though I am the right weight for my height (6'3) I feel VERY skinny due to the increaisng size of the population.
So I'll ask a question if I might (in a straw poll)....... skinny, or overweight... which do you prefer in the absence of 'athletic'?

hahahah i am neither delerious nor d*unk, im just a dedicated follower of mr cowell....and ps xix never in my lifeeeeeeeeeee have i tasted buckie we arent weejies we prefer champagne |

to me athletic means good defined muscle tone where you can identify the muscle groups but also needs to be accompanied with the physical stamina and where with all to take advantage and use of that body.
someone who does martial arts or regular gym user would qualify. but again just my opinion
