I’m thinking of having a few Christmas drinks in Inverness on the night of the 23rd.

Would anyone be interested in maybe making it in to an informal casual social. Open to anyone The pubs should be busy so a mixed group of people out for a few drinks shouldn’t stand out or draw any unwanted attention or embarrassment.

It’s just an idea and wanted to see if it grows legs as folk always complain that nothing happens up here

Cool. I’ll keep an eye on this post and see if there’s enough interest. I’m currently out of the country with work just now but back week before Christmas and would make arrangements about where and when nearer the time

Nearly impossible to organise something up here due to everyone knowing everyone and people being paranoid about being "outed" for being on a site like this.

Unfortunately it is deemed unacceptable by the masses to be on here.

Not being funny but have you ever heard of anyone being outed, been on Fab for a number of years and never heard a whisper of someone else being on Fab as a naming and shaming type scenario. Just thinking the fear is greater than the reality. Get it organised and enjoy the night and your life choices and fcuk everyone else.

Yeah definitely have seen a few people being outed and everyone just ripped the piss out of them and called them perverts or weirdos. It's just a shitty mentality.

It’s a few people meeting in a pub. Not sure how you could be outed from that. I do a weekly Fab social at a pub quiz and to my knowledge no one has ever been outed. Been doing it for 5-6 years now.

Funnily enough it started because someone else was going to arrange a social then left and I arranged it instead. It can lead to regular social meets. It’s great for new people to get verified and less stressful than one to one coffee meets.

It's a shame there's no group socials near us, that's something me and Mrs would love to attend, we know there's a regular one in Aberdeen but that's always Sundays, how difficult would it really be to organise something for moray/Highlands area?

This is supposed to be the busiest weekend of the year, the pubs are empty, there is hardly anyone out in town, never mind swinger socials.

Generally outwith Fab? Quiet, mad Friday, weekend before Christmas, the town was dead, a few fights none the less

But by 1am most people had gone home, every weekends been the same. With table service only, they will be no one out at new year

I honestly believe that there are more dreamers than genuine swingers and that'd possibly the reason for it. We have often spoke about meeting other people via fab and having kids we can't just up stix and travel to Dundee, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee for clubs and socials..it would be great to start something however we would only be happy if it was a variety of men, women and couples rather than the majority being men..no disrespect to men but not much fun of your the only lady there lol.

I tried to organise something yeah it was but short notice but only 1 couple messaged me

A lot of people up here don't walk the walk.

All people don't know each other & they use it as an excuse, I couldn't care if I knew someone at a social gathering just means that we are all horny people looking for extra fun
