Does anyone know if CHs is usually busy in the week between Christmas and New Year?
It’s half price admission for that night but we are worried it’s half price cos they expect it to be quiet as people are saving themselves for the big NYE party |

You should take the plunge and go. Everyone is really friendly and I’m sure you wouldn’t spend the night not talking to anyone |

"28th Dec is always a busy night and the reason I do half price is as a thank you for all the support throughout the year and not because it’s quiet. Cj xx"
Ah. Best I don't make the 28th my first visit then, that might be a bit cheeky! |

It’s a more chilled out night. The craziness of cooking Christmas dinner is over and it’s time to chill out and relax. |

Just sent CJ a message about coming along.
Will be my first party and will be on my own.
Is anyone meeting up beforehand? Would be nice to meet a few people in a social setting before going along.

There's a classroom in there. Put up a whiteboard and a power point presentation and we're sorted. |

"Limitations for indoors are:
100 people standing
200 people seated
No restriction on lying down. "
It's possible CJ may have to restrict the number of people coming in, who knows? We'll see what happens x |

In the grand scheme of things are they really stupid bloody rules? It’s certainly not ideal but at the end of the day its only an night out that may be sacrificed. A lot more people have made greater sacrifices and put up with a lot of shit this virus has caused |

Your entitled to your opinion. However, I disagree as I am sure do many others (debatable issue). Yes the rules are rediculous and causing so much damage to people's live and businesses that in the end are paying for this crisis. The vast majority of the country are double jabbed and nearly 60% boostered. The hospital stats have looked pretty similar since the summer and the science that suggests the vaccine program is holding well up against severe covid. the Scottish government always overreact and always the media cherry pick the science narrative that suits their agenda... |

Sorry, that not due to covid positive cases. The transient hospital bed shortage is being caused by care homes refusing to take in patients due to this panic that is causing an issue. Go research the stats. Under 600 covid hospital cases in Scotland and ~40 involving ITU (less than 10% of ITU capacity). |
