Ok so been on here long time now chatted and messaged but one thing that continues to puzzle me....
How the f***k do you spell.. horny/horney???
Is this one of those "there isnae a real spellin" or do half the peeps that use the word like me not know which one to use?
Me, I go for horny but so many go for the horney I'm confused!
Anyone got the true definitive never to be disputed again answer?

its "HORNY": adjective coming form possessing a horn (eg rhinocerous).
"horn" is adjectivised by adding a "Y" not an "EY"
as its originaly an adjective describing an animal possessing a horn, it (technically) should be used to describe the male state of sexual arousal.
is that a geeky enough answer for you? |
