Port Glasgow

we have been all over these forums for the past 2/3 weeks mainly because we are going to CJs for the first time this saturday! we are both nervous but as equally excited to spend a night with like minded people!

so we are not going to turn this post into a any advice post as we have searched and read the previous posts for some advice etc

i suppose my question is a different spin - if you have been before what one thing do you wish you knew before you went?

answers on a postcard

thanks all

I’ve seen people arrive without booze. I’m sure they wish they knew it was bring your own, before hand.

Nothing really and I guess I'm one of the few people who doesn't need alcohol to enjoy myself either x

I don’t need alcohol to enjoy myself….but I do enjoy a drink sometimes.

But when you consider Cjs, loads of folk take their cars so there’s a decent number of people sober.

Absolutely so they have to stay sober or at least have a non alcoholic beer. I'm a social drinker but don't really do it in CJ's. I've had maybe one or two beers but that's always been enough for me, then I'm on the lemonade the rest of the night x

What do I wish I knew?

That's there's nothing to worry about and you'll find someone you know.

If you don't someone will be welcoming.
