Anyone had some?
And if they did show up, did they DO anything?
Had three young lads show up, in costume at least...
Handed them a few sweets and that was that, but when I were a lad (when it were a 6 mile walk to school and uphill both ways and all this were nowt but fields) you had to at least tell a joke, sing a song, do a dance or something...?

Made up 40 goodie bags and not a single chap at the door 
Think kids are having parties at home these days plus the pandemic isn't helping either I don't think  |

2 big bags full ..nearly all gone..kids that don't even live on my street.wee fella got 2 full plastic bags full saying iv still 2 more streets to go to  |

We've had about 15 groups, mostly all supervised with parents (some parents also dressed  ). None have had any party pieces, just "Trick or Treat!" or "Happy Halloween!" but all otherwise very polite. We've had loads of fun! |

We had more "Trick or Treaters" on Friday night than we did last night.
Real issue was on the Friday one group had an adult with them and when I said "It's not Halloween till Sunday" the adult snapped and told me I should still have treats ready for the kids. I just looked at him emotionlessly and said "It's not Halloween till Sunday"
He couldn't slam my gate hard enough when he left.
I watched them go to all my neighbours too, and out of the 8 or 9 houses I saw them go to, only one actually answered the door and dismissed them. |

Kids would need to get a bus and walk miles up my dark spooky roadend .. if the doorbell goes at night I shit myself.. lol . Did have guisers once years ago.. we gave them some chocolate for their perseverence |

Apart from the grandkids none
It has become to Americanised now
Nobody goes guising doing a turn for nuts or apples anymore
It’s all trick or treat demanding candy or money
I don’t think it’s just pandemic that kept them indoors either social media has parents petrified to let their wee ones out of their site after dark
I remember covering an entire house estate before going to organised parties back in the day
No social media to scare the bejesus out of you.
We kids knew where to go and who to avoid and it was still there

Had a busy one In My neighbourhood. Loads of kids about. I dressed up and took the kids around.
Growing up in Canada we only ever said ‘trick or treat’ never had to do any show or work for the candy. That’s a foreign concept to me. So I’ve not taught my kids to do anything (aside from the polite greetings)
Few houses seemed genuinely let down my kids didn’t tell a joke or perform. Ah well. Next year |

We brought 4 inflatable dinosour outfits and just ran around our little village, big t-rex going down the zip wire, the amount of people taking pictures not knowing who the fuck it was, it was hilarious. |
