According to BBC news website Ardeer is under consideration to be the site of a new experimental fusin energy plant.

I did see them putting up new security fencing late summer when i wad there.

The theory is there, actually known for quite some years. It’s just controlling it.....tends to get out of hand fairly easily.....

As for Ardeer, yip could do with it, but won’t happen when you bring politics into it, and the politicians will make the decision....

Oh I don't know. With the current energy crisis in the UK the government need alternative solutions to fossil fuels and nuclear. Green is all good but an ultra cheap energy source like fusion might be the future. Scotland are leaders in the development of alternative energy, so why not fusion??

Rather have that than another nuclear plant....
