Edinburgh's last remaining sauna for men will re-open in November, under the management of Planet Bar & Kitchen. Reverting to its old name, Steamworks, the changing room will also be returning to its original location and additional cabins are due.

It's quite an experience. On the one hand, you can just go to enjoy the facilities and relax with other guys in a sexually steamy atmosphere. Naked Wednesdays were popular.
When it comes to action, it's hard to beat being in the totally dark room when there is what I call a happening. It's random, haphazard. One minute there are just a couple of guys enjoying themselves and before you know it, the sounds have attracted others, like a swarm drawn to sexual nectar, and the room is full of guys fondling, groping, sucking and fucking. (Condoms are available). |
