Sure, fucking in the kitchen and whatnot, but that's not what I'm meaning.
I'm reading Atomic Habits and it's currently talking about having separate contexts for different activities; you'll sleep better if your bedroom is only ever for sleeping. It got me thinking, at what point in life are you able to have bedrooms purely for sex and different rooms purely for sleep? Does anyone currently? Has it improved/ would it improve your life? |

I have found that at least stop using your bed as a chair to watch TV etc, in unfortunately I live at work and the rooms we have it’s sometimes the only comfortable chair in the room, my most recent room had a small couch so did not use the bed other than sleeping and I slept better |

This topic has become more at the forefront with regards to those working from home. When the second lockdown was in full swing some large companies began sending their employees lifestyle based tips with regards to how to tackle negative energy within the home when the home also becomes the workplace. The ones we got within the household were quite different but shared some key components.
One of the key points was to, if possible, not have your workstation in the bedroom nor have it in the living room as these are places of relaxation etc. Theres more to it than that but it was clear that there has been deep research into the topic.
I’d imagine for your topic, with long term couples a little more vanilla their bedtime routine must play a huge part in causing their sex lives to become stale, a separate space would almost be like a shot in the arm.
Thanks for the book mention, I’m going to give that a read!! Thought provoking topic for sure! |

That’s why I try and keep work at work when away, it’s easy to just bring the laptop back to the cabin and work but then it’s not “your space”, you need a place to switch off and forget work |

1 bedroom for sleep and nookie with the OH only, the other bedroom for Fab fun nookie with others. That being said 2nd bedroom comes in handy when it gets to hot to sleep together, nothing better than slipping into a nice clean cool bed in the middle of a hot sticky night. |
