… your favourite cover? Bad Wolves did an amazing cover of Zombie, though no one could ever outdo Dolores! Adele rocks Dylan’s Make a you Feel my Love and of course Prince wrote Nothing Compares to You which Sinead O’Connor made her own. What’s your favourite? |

Travis and Bare Naked Ladies did Brittney Spears Hit me baby one more time.
Joe Cocker does with a little help from my friends. Which is a massive improvement on the original. Which I personally don't like. |

Dave Edmunds Girls Talk.. written n later (badly!) recorded by Elvis Costello ...although I dont know if its technically a cover version in this case given that Edmunds version was recorded first ...does that mean that Costellos version is the cover version? ...questions only a pure music nerd could (or should?) love ...anyhow i reckon Edmunds vers is much better than Costellos... n so is Robert Wyatts version of Shipbuilding too... |

Quite like Biffy Clyro’s version of umbrella. I there’s a great version on the YouTube of Prince & The travelling willburys doing while my guitar gently weeps. Like Annie Lennox’s version of don’t let it bring you down. Nothing compares 2U and because tonight was made for lovers also gets a nod |

The Fall - There's a Ghost in My House. A weirdly faithful cover of the R Dean Taylor northern soul song, albeit barked in a Mancunian accent! |
