Having just moved to Saltcoats we are planning on having a social at our house. We'd love to meet our local fab people. Mainly interested in local couples coming round but there will be space for a few singles. Plan just to have drinks and snacks and get to know people. Is anybody interested? I'm going to catch up on this conversation in 2 weeks time and am looking forward to the answers. |

Even though there hasn't been much activity here we have received a lot of private messages. We would like to make it clear that this is a social for people to meet and chat over a few drinks and snacks. It is not going to be an orgy. It should go without saying that we expect people to be respectful and discreet as we are holding it at home. |

Well done to you guys for wanting to do this however personally I’d say arrange the social to start say in a beer garden/ picnic in the park for an hour or so before you invite folks back to your house xx |

I agree in so many ways we should have held it in a public place and we have thought about the pros and cons of holding it at home. We'll see how this social goes and am sure will learn a lot. |
