That's a bit of an overly defensive reaction. She asked a perfectly reasonable question, in my experience a lot of guys do think that going to a club with a female will get them more attention than if they go alone.

Maybe they are just more comfortable going with a single female. 2 guys walking into a club together might give a perception that they are a couple and it could have a negative effect on them attracting females
If I was to choose whether i went with another male or female I would pick female every time.

Club Kudos is a great little club.
Saying that not been since before the lockdown carry on.
I don't understand why guys can't walk into a club on thier own.
Guys with profiles that state they are great at fucking and love gangbangs but can't walk into a licensed swing club.
And I'm not bashing single guys, this is the reason we attended the clubs.

Your looking at it through the eyes of a woman. Most women would have no problem teaming up with another woman they don't know or hardly know and still have a girlie chatty night together and still play with whoever they wanted in a club. Or for the more confident women she would go on her own , knowing that as a female she will attract plenty of attention whether single or buddied up with another single female.
Guys see it differently, guys don't boyzie up like girlie nights out. With mates down the pub yes , with strange guys in a swinger club erm , no chance. Like some girls , some guys simply don't want to go to a club on their own as there's never a guarantee of gaining any attention or perhaps just that little bit shy when it comes to approaching others.
At least if they team up with another female they get guaranteed conversation on the night, possibility of getting along really really well with their companion that may or may not lead to fun.
For me it was never about opening doors to gain access to couples , when I went with other females it was always discussed that she and I were free to play with whomever we wanted.
Sometimes we stayed together , sometimes we played separate but we always had the comfort of knowing we had the knowledge we could fall back to each other for conversation or security if required.
Perhaps others male or females could agree with this or disagree and say their reasons.
I would never go to a club on my own , hence why I have ' teamed up' many a time and it went great.

Very interesting topic and replies. As a tv/cd I'm always worried when I go alone to clubs (Will I be accepted/ignored). I would love to escort/buddy up with someone as just friends and if we struck it off then that would be a bonus but it's understandably hard to find someone who is interested and then prepared to actually turn up. |

Was going to look at attending with wife as in Dundee tomorrow. Visiting the VA. Not sure if open and looking at site, bi on a Thursday, is this just all male? Been to other clubs and agree there needs to be some etiquette when a couple attending. Put the wife off in some places, just like to meet nice guys who respect boundaries. |

I have visited The Pipeworks in Glasgow and always had a thoroughly enjoyable time. However, I remember my first visits were filled with trepidation, but need not have been.
Today I’m up Dundee-ish way so intend visiting Kudos for the first time. I’m going this evening and possibly again on Sunday afternoon. If any guy or woman requires a reassuring arm to hold as they enter, then message me. |

Hey, I am hoping one of you fab folks can help us. We are organising a trip upto Dundee to visit Club Kudos next month hopefully. However the website doesn't seem to be very forthcoming with information like membership/entry, dress code etc. Can someone fill in the gaps please and when is best for couples to visit. Any help is greatly appreciated ?? Also any recommendations for budget friendly hotels in Dundee. Sorry for the Spanish inquisition lol x |

Obviously the club is relatively new and hadn't been open long before Covid struck.
There were a few issues in the beginning that put me off attending, but being constructive I think the owner would benefit from someone who is PR/tech/social media savvy. The website is pretty much bare bones and as people have said, if they're not replying to communications for whatever reason that isn't drawing in the custom.
Possibly they are more focused on the day to day running of a sauna than the swinger/party night side of things?
The website needs an update and they need to advertise their nights regularly. I'm not sure what the criteria required by Fab is to be added to the club list but I'd investigate that.
We sorely need more clubs, especially on the East Coast. We do enjoy going to CJs but it is a 3hr round trip so can't go often. |

The website is pretty much bare bones and as people have said, if they're not replying to communications for whatever reason that isn't drawing in the custom.
Possibly they are more focused on the day to day running of a sauna than the swinger/party night side of things?
The website needs an update and they need to advertise their nights regularly. I'm not sure what the criteria required by Fab is to be added to the club list but I'd investigate that.
We sorely need more clubs, especially on the East Coast. We do enjoy going to CJs but it is a 3hr round trip so can't go often."

Been thinking about this and a good idea to make kudos more open to swinger nights would be we should mobilise and get many couples along to the swinger nights. On average the last two swinger nights we've been to there's been about half a dozen couples there including us.
The next one is on the 30th. If we can get a lot more couples along and voice our collective interest in more club nights for swingers I'm sure they'd take it on board |

Why not post a meet & organise something yourself to get some extra couples going with you?

we went along to the last swingers night and as has been said earlier there were six or seven couples there on that night. Only little let down for us was the lack of single guys, but that won't bother most couples who are thinking of attending i guess. The place is smallish but perfectly adequate for the purpose. Plenty of rooms to play and all looked spotlessly clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. There was no specific dress code.
I do agree though that they could definitely be doing with someone with some tech savvy to keep on top of the website as i am sure it would be a popular enough destination, not really anywhere else up that way and it a long way to glasgow for the swingers of north east scotland !
Kudos certainly deserves the support of local swingers, but could do with giving out a bit more info ! |

Think we did spend a while chatting to you, thanks for making us welcome. We are not regular clubbers but we will probably be back soon, just hoping more guys are about ! We are one of the few couples who are looking for single guys and were surprised there weren't many there.........usually couples complain there are too many guys, maybe we were just unlucky that night ?

Its mainly a gay sauna and TV nights I'm sure. And I think it's a TV that runs it now, they do swingers nights aswell, that's pretty much all the info I have though lol |

We are new to all this and only been going since lockdown ended.
We go every 2nd Saturday and have a great time, usually last to leave. Met some very, "interesting" couples there. Very friendly and relaxed. |
