Unfortunately we are not all gifted with the same kindness OP, Just have to move on, hopefully its a one off, Hey at least you got someone to actually agree to meet you, Some folks ain't got that far, Chin up mate |

Exactly this, they may not necessarily been unkind by ghosting you, it may have been a kindness to themselves to walk away from a situation they were no longer satisfied with. We all need to be kind to ourselves first and foremost.
