Apparently last week there was countryside rangers on patrol asking people to get dressed as there had been a few complaints from the public as a number of people hadn't been keeping it low key. It's not an official nudist beach but an RSPB owned bird sanctuary.
There is a thread on Fabguys asking guys to behave and be a little less conspicuous as it's going to spoil it for others. |

am no prude, and like having a bit of discreet fun at the beach with the best of them, however the levels of flagrant exhibitionism on display over the weekend was beyond the pale. There are people exercising their dogs and walking with children on the beach. No-one from the beach should be able to see guys displaying their aroused manhood, and no-one from the beach should have to witness sexual activity being conducted with no regard to public decency. That's the way to generate complaints and then we'll end up with the area being patrolled. And then it will be spoilt for everyone. Come on guys, it's not difficult to find a secluded spot and to keep a lookout. And it's not necessary to show off!

Great post _looboy i have been going on and off for years it’s a fantastic beach it’s getting more popular and accepted by the locals although some are spoiling it by having fun on the beach infront of walkers etc rather than up high in the dunes discreetly cracking beach though need more women so cmon bluebell |

There is only o e actually official nudist beach in Scotland which is in Brora which the campsite own the campsite is not nudist just the stretch of beach. I do feel going by some forums that people are treating them like swingers meet ups and that's not what nudist beaches are meant to be.. |

I am pretty sure the beach on Arran is it cleats shore is official also the beach at Ardeer which in my opinion is the best and busiest in scotland has had arguments of official and unofficial statuses for years |

Used to go to a few when I lived in Sweden, some genuine nudist others more for swinging ??
Being naked in Scandinavia is common, saunas etc and nude beaches are openly advertised. Not the hang ups like here (and the weather is better!) |
